Bandai has announced that singer and voice actress Minori Chihara will be attending New York’s Anime Festival as a part of a promotional campaign for the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie. In addition to doing the usual rounds of fan panels and signings, she will also be performing live in concert.
If concerts are what you’re looking for, there’s a lot of material that Chihara can cover since she sings the ending theme to the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie as well as the really catchy opening sequence to Ga-Rei Zero titled “Paradise Lost.” The character song “Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite,” is also an enjoyable piece, so don’t be surprised if that pops up either.
Given her relative prominence, seats might be in short supply. NYAF will be taken reservations for seats starting July 15 so check out their website around that date if you want to get a spot.
